Letter from Todd about Wetlands Board Hearing deferral

Excerpt: Despite any rumors you may here that this project is a done deal, there is a mountain of justification supporting denial of this project.  So keep up the good work and thanks for your continued involvement.

Dear Bayfront Residents,
If you haven’t heard, the Wetlands Board Hearing has been deferred until January at the earliest.  Attached is a letter from the developer’s attorney concurring to City Staff’s request for more time to obtain answers to questions the City still has with the permit.  If you can’t open the attachment, here is a link to the SDCC website with the same information.
Link to deferral request.

January’s meeting will be held on the 3rd Tuesday Jan 16th(because Monday is a holiday) or on the 4th Monday Jan 22nd.  We are trying to verify the exact date so stay turned.  Buses will scheduled for this new date.  Liz is the contact.
In the meantime, don’t let these “on again, off again” delays break your resolve.  Keep those emails going and make tentative plans to attend the next scheduled meeting.  It will make a difference and show the Wetlands Board that the community really cares about what happens in our neighborhoods.  Despite any rumors you may here that this project is a done deal, there is a mountain of justification supporting denial of this project.  So keep up the good work and thanks for your continued involvement.
Sincerely,
Todd Solomon
